Spiegel Forum fellow Dr. Ruth Samuel Tenenholtz has researched the Nijverdal Archive in east Holland between 1926-1946 for material about the fate of the Jews of that town. In December 2022 she uploaded a document that she has written about her research to her website. On June 1, 2022 the new core exhibition "The Holocaust: What Hate Can Do" opened at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York. Prof. Judy Baumel-Schwartz was a historian-curator for the exhibition. On July 7 she spoke with Becky Frank, assistant to the curatorial team, about the history and uniqueness of the new core exhibition.
