Massekhet is a multi-faceted research periodical that serves as a unique platform for articles dealing with women of the Jewish world: in the range of Jewish sources and their creative endeavor, throughout history, both in Israel and around the world.
The periodical constitutes an inter-disciplinary and meeting point for a wide spectrum of approaches, ages and backgrounds, from both academic and research institutions from a variety of spiritual and ideological fields. Theoretical, historical and methodological issues related to the status of women in Judaism are welcome.
Among the contributors to previous volumes of Massekhet: Prof. Shulamit Elizur, Prof. Yaffah Berlovitz, Prof. Aviad Hacohen, The composer Prof. Andre Hajdu, Prof. Haviva Pedaya, Rav Shagar, Prof. Ziva Shamir, Prof. Avigdor Shinan, Dr. Zvi Zameret and many others.
Researchers and Scholars are invited to submit articles in Hebrew dealing with women in the Jewish world from a variety of viewpoints and a range of fields of knowledge and research.
The articles (including footnotes) must not exceed 9000 words, and should be submitted to:
